Jasmín is one of the rising stars of the Amsterdam scene renowned for her eclectic, percussion-rich sound. Last year, she graduated from the Master of Arts in Gender Studies from Utrecht University. Like many of her generation, she is impossible to pin down with genre restrictions. She is bold and adventurous in her selections and has played everywhere from South Africa to New York where she unites gqom, bass, breaks, dubstep, techno and plenty more with her elastic DJ style and knack for exciting rhythms. She also readily embraces the weird, with a knack for uncovering the most compelling of unexpected oddities. As both a hard-working and in-demand selector, Jasmín has taken the stage at an array of much loved venues and events across the world, including the likes of the Dekmantel, Dekmantel Selectors and Rewire Festivals, De School, Garage Noord, Tresor, Griessmuehle, and Nowadays. In recent times, she spent time honing her skills in the studio with Ableton, with her track releases being featured on VAs from Dekmantel and Martyn's 3024 imprint, and a track on VAs from Woozy and Patterns of Perception recently.
